    *Official* English Football Season 2005-06

You have clearly just got that idea from the F.A cup final on occasions they have lacked finishing but on many occasions they have been completly direft of ideas in midfeald usualy when playing at a low tempo

    He who dares, wins.

Yes windies probably although the rule on bouncers might make it a little different

    Anderson

Out of intrest how many times have you seen Tremlet bowl? And he is sill a young player its just that he started very young which is a good thing he has experience of county cricket but stil has a long international carrer infront of him

Yes this happens in pretty much every sport i just hope it doesnt send England into a panic

Yes it is already just as good as Chelsea or Man united although i am not yet convinced by Reyes

what is the latest on baptista or is that move finaly dead? if he was brought in Arsenal would have a very good strikeforce

I would also expect Arsenal too buy a keeper before the start of the new season

Did England deserve the title of second best in the world.

quite right this is typical of people overeacting too one defeat by a great side

Apart from of course Thorpe which now seems too late and possibly the keeper i dont see really how the side could be improved in terms of personel.

No but it has a lot too do with it on many occasions last year Manchester united has a complete lack of creativity

Then why Agent tby did arsenal come ahead of manchester united last year? Dont forget Viera was not on form last year and also that arsenal have got flamini and now Hleb in their ranks

England really really must not panic they havnt turned into a bad side they have just been beaten by 2 of the best bowlers in history. I think Thorpe should have been in all along but wholesale changes really are not the way too go

I think a lot will depend on the form of Van nistelrooy if he is at the level he was a couple of years ago then man utd will just hold the edge upfront. Midfeald i think Arsenal are stronger and defence there isnt really a whole lot in it.

Did England deserve the title of second best in the world.

Still the result would have probably been the same

I think he managed too make his point perfectly clearly

because they are capable of playing football better than anyone else in the premiership and Manchester with the exception of Ronaldo have an aeging midfeald and i dont see anyone coming through too replace them and they have just as much goalkeeping problems as arsenal

I would think that overall Arsenal are stronger than man utd despite what games between the two would suggest and i do think Arsenal will run chelsea very close this season. Liverpool could get up with man utd aswell although i would like too see both fail dismaly

    Can't Keep Can Bat

Jone's keeping is very concerning and i have never been a great fan of his but he did bat ok in the first inings. I wouldnt drop him yet though. And Gilchrist is simply the best keeper of all time and even if that is mainly due too his batting i think his keeping is underated

How does Hoggard feel now about his pre match comments?

I heard some people say Hoggard should be dropped and replaced by Colingwood which i dont think would be a good idea
