If the ball landed on the very tip of his finger then some part of it would definitely have hit the ground. It was bleeding at the very end, almost where finger meets fingernail (on the outer end). The only way I can imagine that happening is if the ball hit the end of his finger on the way into...

***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2008/09

Not taking anything away from his hundred. (I saw a bit of it, and he looked good). But from talking to Matt Horne and Batesy, I was lead to believe that the pitch is nothing short of a typical Eden Park outer oval road. Unless of course you meant something else by difficult conditions. Great...

The very tip of Tendulkar's finger was bleeding. Meaning that the ball definitely hit ground. And Sachin would definitely have known that it did.

Shastri is delusional if he thinks that was out. Blatantly hit grass.

Slightly off topic, but the fact that women's tennis players are paid the same as men is an absolute disgrace.

    2008 U-19 World Cup NZ/India Semi

Played a 3 dayer and a 1 dayer vs Wellington A. Would'v won the 3 dayer comfortably but for rain, and smashed them in the 1 dayer. Would've beaten ND A in a 3 dayer but for rain. Won 1 and Lost 1 out of 2 one dayers vs Auckland A. But without Corey Anderson, Kane Williamson, Harry Boam and Doug...

I think so. He turns it quite a bit. Has quite an unusual action in that when you first face him it looks like every ball is a wrong-un. I picked it like that anyway!

He'll probably be in the team for the WC. He wasn't in the team this year which is what I meant, sorry.

On St Patrick's day Tarun was talking about how Parlane couldn't pick his wrong un and that he'd get him no problem. Fair call! Haha

Not to the same extent. I doubt you would be able to return one serve out of 100 if Venus Williams was serving to you.

A professional woman wrestler would kick an average joe's arse. Same with tennis.
