Yep and if I was Oz, I wouldn't allow a sub fielder, reckon he'll be in the slips.

Stokes can barely walk FFS, I just don't see even if he scores a match-winning knock he can play all 5.

Nah Duckett only started looking bad in the 80s, he'd already scored many more than Zak did, we have no idea how Crawley would have dealt with Wagner-ball.

Blimey, whisper it but it feels like proper test cricket ATM.

TBH, there's a little bit of chicken-little here, we've not lost a wicket for a bit, Head is bowling and Oz bowlers are pretty tired, it was an annoying passage, but again we'd have taking this at 5.45 yesterday, and even this morning.

Stewart averaged well over 40 as opener on much harder England pitches than exist nowadays was World-class if he'd stayed opening, which he should have, but we preferred a batter over a superior 'keeper, who could also bat, somethings never change.

Yep he was alsio part of the mentioned 2003-05 side, so I didn''t go into defend him. oh I see C-u-c-k is censored, c'mon man, it's not even a swear

Well let's see if there drop catch will cost them, I'd rather they'd dropped Root, but ho-hum. Stokes is being a **** in this innings.

Mark Butcher was mentioned, but this is Trundler and he loves this convo. The weird thing is I kinda agree him, the 80s and 90s England sides were ****, but there were still some decent players around in two decades.

True, but this a rather forgetting how awful England were for the few years before Bazball. Yet I'm not arguing some of the sessions in this series have been ugly, but never as ugly as watching Sibley, Burns, Denly. Oh and those two sides were by far the best in my England watching...

OFFS Brook this is village, have a word Stokes.

Hideous from Root. Look we can debate bazball, bowling line-ups, wickets, tactics, but Oz are winning this series over England ATM, because their catching has been markedly better IMHO.

and now we have KP analysing it, it's oddly hellish considering we are in a much better position then we could of ever hoped to be in, this time yesterday.

*Official* Second Test (Lord's, London) 28 June–2 July

Yeah, it's really not hideous, particularly as opening in Enfland isn't normally the easiest job.

*Official* Second Test (Lord's, London) 28 June–2 July

I suppose if we are going to stay in it is pretty tiring for the bowlers, particularly with Lyon out, but it just looks so ugly, and that Starc ball was actually really decent on a length.

WTF was that Brook, oh gawd I don't think I can handle this. Look the second shot was fine, it's controlled orthodox. a shot you play, don't start playing tennis shots.

Some liked him, for most of us it was like listening to Kp's commentary, ho-hum.
