4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Yeah but he was almost done anyway. Looking to the future, none of these guys we've seen over the last six months (Rana, Krishna, now Kamboj) inspire confidence. Akash is fine with the new ball but needs to develop some skills once the shine's off.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

India's seam reserves outside the first two names on the selection sheet are bone-dry atm.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Kamboj bowls the kind of (no) pace that gives him zero margin for error. The kind of bowler that Bazball was made for. They're soon going to start coming down the wicket to him.

Crawley still in the team? Form is temporary, class is permanent.

Decent score all said. Don't think conditions look like changing any time soon so it's advantage India for now.

Pant doesn't like that particular line from Archer does he? Tbf few would, these have been peaches.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

I'm so glad a singularity like Pant exists in this game. What a guy.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Don't see what's the point in this situation though. Pant's not in any shape to hit out and we're the ones who have to make the plays in this game. It's the one time they should chance their arms and hope it comes off.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Stokes has been England's best bowler by a mile all series. Looks as athletic as ever.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Don't get all the whining. I'll have Pant riding shotgun with me any day. What a man, full ****ing respect.

It's that bony bit where you develop bunions though. In his case it was swollen like the biggest most painful bunion you ever saw.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Is Jack Leach no longer a cricketer? How are these people keeping him out?

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

We're not ending the day less than 6 down on the scorecard. Meh stick a pin in this one. Losing Pant is as bad as losing Bumrah.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

My guess is no. Pant should've been holding his head instead of hobbling on his foot.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

I hope so. That is a concussion of the foot for sure.

Play stupid games, you sometimes win stupid prizes.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Pitch looks crumbly in that follow through area already.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

He had 600 runs after 2 Tests in what looked like a roady summer. Had even odds if the trend continued.

What if Sachin Tendulkar was born in England. Do you think he would have ended up with a better record?

Dumb but at least open to ill-advised adventures like Bashir. Can you imagine him finding a spot in the 90s?
