Interesting lineup, 3 bowlers and Munro left out. 6-9 is Franklin, Elliott, Neesham, and NMcCullum. Will be interesting to see if McCullum does come in at 9. I thought Munro would play over Elliott

Interesting bowling choices...you would think knowing Ryder will blast away you would open the bowling with your two most experienced bowlers in Bates and Adams....rather than feeding a youngster to the Lions... sure he got him out....but...

***Official*** England in New Zealand series 2013

Although Guptill has been in terrible form, both he and Williamson show a huge desire in representing New Zealand, so I hope they both remain in the team. This would be my lineup 1) Peter Fulton - he was supposed to open vs South Africa, so he wins the position by default. I wouldn't mind...

Rutherford Brodie Bracewell Young Cachopa Boam de Boorder Kuggeleign Sodhi Wheeler Duffy or How Redmond Sinclair Taylor Ryder Broom Hopkins Nethula McKay Arnel Martin I wonder how the current team would go against both of those teams

To be fair on the bat first decision... Most pitches seam for the first session and then flatten out to be a good batting track 252/3 indicates the pitch has flattened out...so if we just had some bottle to get through the first session something like 60/2 then it would open up for us South...

I would go with Wagner, more for his ability with an older ball to get it to reverse. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if both played instead of Bracewell

i thought it was long overdue, but i think its well past his time now Astle needs to be invested in and Jeets has done ok, surely you dont take 3 spinners on tour...i would have thought Nathula would have been ahead of Martin in the pecking order as well

Pick your NZ bowlers/all-rounders for SA

Guptill McCullum Williamson Taylor Flynn Brownlie Watling Vettori Bracewell Southee Boult Reserves Wagner Patel Martin Munro/Rutherford/Cachopa I would probably lean towards Rutherford as Guptill is down on form

I really like how Taylor is playing, he's rotating the strike and not looking to hit boundaries

*Official* New Zealand in Sri Lanka 2012

Im tempted to go for a complete overhaul of our batting and starting over. McCullum is 31, Taylor is 28, Guptill is 26, Flynn 27, Watling 27.(We also need a decent spinner) Why not completely rebuild, only really Guptill is young enough to turn the promise into something. The culture of the...
