    T20 Blast 2024 (Started on 30th May)

well partly because some are not picked, when they should. Really don't like our opening partnership for various reasons, but okay start until Smeed is out.

Oh and if CJ ever gets ahead of Gregory in a International team again, I'll cry unless it's for a fielding xi.

    T20 Blast 2024 (Started on 30th May)

They are good days, but we ain't faves for the Championship at all, don't want to have a Gambhir-off here, but I've been here on a number of occasions, and the momentum is with us, but I feel another agonising defeat coming. On Rew, I think our coaches have felt he shouldn't be overworked and...

Rew of course the replacement for Banton, so could be a bit of a story if he helps win the game for Somerset. Didn't quite see why Cox went ahead of him in the England pecking order, but for balance he kept pretty shoddily. Wonder who Jamie Overton really wants to win here.

Well done Lewis, what a man, should be playing for England, but nevermind.

Pope could make a real case for himself as a limited over bat, plays so little of it, probably needs to perform when he plays.

Rew down as opener could be interesting. Bad start by him and Cove though.

***Official*** England vs Sri Lanka 21st August-10th September 2024

I should say I do like the Sri Lankan seam bowlers, they all feel like proper fast bowlers, particularly Asitha

***Official*** England vs Sri Lanka 21st August-10th September 2024

Yeah this is the point, I know he would have wanted to play at the Oval, but with the series won, it was time for a well-earnt rest with Potts keeping his place.

Time for an England white ball rebuild

Yeah, anyone that has watched his tv show would know he has the people skills to be a great coach, think he'll lead England one day.

He just played in a terrible era for finger-spinners, no drs, no uncovered pitches, he would have comfortably averaged about 7 less if he played today, same as Edmonds. His improvisational batting would be great in t20 too, not so sure about his fielding though.

Broad and Anderson are good examples of nearly current England players. Yet the thing to do is look at the past, many of the greatest bowlers of all-time went from express pace to more controlled bowling, Hadlee, Trueman, Marshall, Lillee. Whilst many who carried on bowling fast were limited to...

Genuinely think this obsession with bowling fast is the problem, they just put their bodies through so much, it's certainly not over-work, so many of them hardly play a county match. They know if they want an England career they have to bowl express, TBH this isn't just a bazball thing it's...

Mahmood. Overtons as well, and Atkinson has come off injuries, but hey I'm sure it'll all be fine when Potts and Cook open the bowling in the Ashes.

Bum steer from me I'm afraid he was actually late 80's, Wally Masur was the man.

Time for an England white ball rebuild

Banton is just better in every way though. I think Smeed only playing shortest-form, hasn't really worked. Everyone knows I'm not a fan of KP, and you'd think he would approve of Smeed's move, but he reckons if you are out of form, playing County Championship is sometimes the best way to get...
