Who is the best current International Coach

Gillespie completely out of rhythm in that series ? Rubbish..... Anyone who watched that series would realise that Gillespie most certainly was fully fit and bowling with great rhythm. Obviously you didn't or you're just trying to twist the facts to suit your point.

    Murali may now tour

Given the reception that Howard gave to Martin Johnson and his lads after winning the RWC, I don't think he would deign to meet a man who he feels is a chucker. Little Johnny does not like it when Aussies are outshone ( so Murali getting to teh record ahead of Warne would not sit well with him)

    fastest domestic bowlers

I'll have ago at the first question -- the 2nd is well nigh impossible to answer. Australia - Tait RSA - Brent Bjorn Kops pakistan - Heard Irshad is pretty quick -- don't know if he's the quickest. India - Munaf Patel although I believe Joginder Sharma's quite pacy as well. England - no idea...

I have a feeling we'll be playing Uruguay (5th South American team for the final WC spot). Here's the squad to qualify (Hope Frank Farina esquire is listening) (1-4-4-2) Schwarzer Muscat Moore Murphy Popovic Emerton Bresciano Kewell Lazaridis Aloisi Agostino...

Euro 2004 - pick your starting sides

Barthez won't be in goal for France. Also, France have plenty of depth in strikers after Trezeguet and Henry -- saha, Luyindula and Govou are all quality forwards.

    Worst Ever Players

Scott's problem was that he didn't toe the party line i.e suck up to Steve Waugh unlike Messrs Langer and Hayden.

    *Official* Australia in Zimbabwe Thread

Got to give Macgill a lot of credit. At least he isn't going to use this sorry excuse of a test series to enhance already inflated test averages ( as doubtless the Aussie bats will be looking to do).

    Botham wants Hussain out

Gilchrist actually has a pretty poor technique. He has been lucky in the sense that he has played on a plethora of flat wickets and faced some very average bowlers. If he played in the 1980's or even the early to mid 90's he would have averaged no more than 35 I wager.

Banks is a finger spinner. At best , he would have limited success with the ball.

    *Official* Australia in decline thread

I think Australia's decline will happen a lot sooner than most predict. It'l happen due mainly to Warne and Mcgrath ageing -- I think both are past their best. Yes I know the Aussies will bring up Sri Lanka -- Warne bowled well there but I still think wear and tear takes a toll -- he is not as...

    Pommies could rattle Aussies: Waugh

I think England will knock Australia over next year. Mcgrath and Warne are ageing and the Aussies don't have the quality in their reserve bowlers. Brett Lee is vastly overrated in test matches and Macgill is past his best. Williams and Bracken are rubbish and Tait's all hype until he actually...
