Ravindra Jadeja vs Ravichandran Ashwin - Better test cricketer

I reckon it’s Jadeja because he will contribute with bat overseas. Ashwin couldn’t do that.

Ravindra Jadeja vs Ravichandran Ashwin - Better test cricketer

Let’s do it. Ashwin was the senior pro and lead spinner when they played together but Jadeja was the reason team India threw him out of the team in SENA. Ashwin has retired and Jadeja is still going strong. Who is a better test cricketer for India?

Better batsman : Ian Botham vs Imran Khan

Botham was a better batsman. Imran Khan vs Kapil Dev vs Ravindra Jadeja would be a better comparison.

Bumrah vs Holding - Greater test bowler?

If Bumrah retires in this month, he is still ahead of Holding in my opinion.

Ravindra Jadeja vs Shakib Al Hasan

I think his batting average can be taken at face value. Bowling avg is obviously inflated via dustbowls in India. Batting averages are quite balanced home and away combined. Just a bit too many not outs like Imran Khan or Shaun Pollock. But he is comfortably better batsman than Pollock.

Is Keith Miller an ATG test bowler?

Both are at same level buddy! Miller didn’t even bowled early on in his career. And subcontinent wasn’t even a challenge back then because they were minnow nations. Jadeja has double his wickets.

Is Keith Miller an ATG test bowler?

No, he is same level as Jadeja as test bowler. As a batter, he is slightly better than Jadeja.

5 greatest cricketers since Don’s retirement.

Viv, Imran, Marshall, Sachin and McGrath

    Ben Stokes vs Ravindra Jadeja

In an ideal world, their numbers would be, Bat Avg, Stokes 37, Jadeja 33 Bowl Avg, Stokes 33, Jadeja 28 Both are excellent in their home conditions but Jadeja is perhaps more dominant. Away from home, they are probably equivalent.

    Bat Avg :- Stokes - 35, Jadeja - 34 Bowl Avg :- Stokes - 32, Jadeja - 24

    Who is a better all rounder/cricketer ?

Bumrah vs Holding - Greater test bowler?

Holding was box office and brilliant away from home and everywhere too. No wonder why he is rated so highly despite the bowling average not at the same level as Marshall, Garner, Ambrose.
  13. R

Bumrah vs Holding - Greater test bowler?

I picked Bumrah because he averages much higher than Holding. Holding avg was 23 odd throughout his career while Bumrah’s avg is currently 19-20. So, with a bit of decline, he should likely end at 20-21.

Bumrah vs Holding - Greater test bowler?

Both have similarities. Their workload was managed and they had multiple injuries throughout their careers. Both were mediocre vs New Zealand, who were good sides in both era. Bumrah likely to end with same number of tests or maybe a little more.

    Rabada vs Roberts vs Anderson

Rabada is the best. Roberts was high quality but played in an era where if you can bowl fast and short stuff, batters will find it tough. Anderson is more skillful and arguably better than him because he can make life tougher to batters wearing helmet and do it again and again for two decades...

Top 2 batsmen of each decade since 1970s

2000s - Ponting and Kallis. Rest agreed.

Top 2 fast bowlers of each decade since 70s

    I second this.

    11 Tendulkars vs 11 Jadejas

Asia - Jadeja Outside Asia - Sachin Sachin will enjoy facing all spin of Jadeja outside Asia and troll him literally by scoring 1000 runs.

    Sachin. Sobers. Smith.

Didn’t saw Sobers so hard to say but between Sachin and Smith, Smith was a tougher batter to get out and had a greater peak than Sachin in Tests. So, Smith is my choice. Sobers batted down at 5-6 and cashed on weaker opponents too as visible by his performance against opponents. I will pick...

    Fred Trueman vs Joe Root

KP and Gower are quality too
