Match #51- Australia vs India - Super Eights, Gros Islet, St Lucia, June 24 - Group 1

If England don't win, I'd rather Aus do. Not too out there. I usually root against India as I find their braggadocious fans too much.

Match #51- Australia vs India - Super Eights, Gros Islet, St Lucia, June 24 - Group 1

Can Aust lose and still go through? If the lads don't win it, I'd rather Oz do.

Match #51- Australia vs India - Super Eights, Gros Islet, St Lucia, June 24 - Group 1

This is pure murder. I am rooting for the Aussies over India but this looks ominous.

Crickey! Some over by Rohit of Starc. Should consider changing his name to starch as he got laid out.

Match #49- Super Eights, England vs USA (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 23rd- Group 2

I would fancy England to out-muscle India on a good deck.

    Semi final qualification status

If that happens, I will throw my support fully behind the WI.

    Semi final qualification status

I suspect Eng and SA will go through, and the Aussies and Indians will go through. Seems fair.

Match #49- Super Eights, England vs USA (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 23rd- Group 2

In T20 at least, the US with its attraction to skilled migrants, may well continue to grow into a very decent side. A bunch of guys who can't make big sides may try their hand for the Yanks.

Match #49- Super Eights, England vs USA (D), Kensington Oval, Barbados-- June 23rd- Group 2

USA seem quite good technically. They are not overawed by big teams. 2 great shots from Nit here.

    Viv Richards vs Brian Lara

Viv also understood psychological warfare better than anyone. The attitude, the lack of a helmet - it was all calculated theatre. Viv was the biggest mental warrior cricket has seen.

    Viv Richards vs Brian Lara

These 2 are the 2 best test batsmen since Sobers. Can't split them really.
  12. N

    Peak Shoaib vs Peak Johnson

Both awesome but Akhtar had that bit extra. 45 odd tests is not an insignificant career. Was the most exciting thing in cricket for a decade.
  13. N

    M Guptil Vs C Gayle

    Gayle is substantially greater overall.
  14. N

    Sehwag Vs Jayasuriya

This sums it up very well.
  15. N

    Sachin Tendulkar vs Malcolm Marshall

If I had to choose just 1 for a team, I'd pick Macko.

Match #48- Super Eights, Australia vs Afghanistan (N), Arnos Vale, Saint Vincent-- June 22nd- Group 1

I suspect it will be SA v Aus, India v England semis.

Woke up to this shocker! Good on the Ghans I guess. However, one gets the feeling that they may have awoken a monster. 😄
