    Bad eggs

Cricket-web forum on the whole seems to be in denial about this issue of inherent bias in the cricketing fraternity. What deeps says its completely right.

Chris Broad: The rogue match referee

And in those very same years players such as Ganguly were regularly called up for comparitavely minor offences?

Chris Broad: The rogue match referee

What was Slater's penalty for his angry reaction to the third umpire being called for a disputed catch off the bat of Rahul Dravid in the 2001 test series in India?

Chris Broad: The rogue match referee

What was McGrath's penalty for his disgraceful abuse aimed at Sarwan in the Caribbean?

    Bad eggs

Those statistics are a true reflection of the historical bias of the ICC in favor of the bloc comprising of England, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand.

Chris Broad: The rogue match referee

Ganguly ain't the rogue captain mate. Non-caucasian's are held accountable for incidents and actions that frankly, Aus/NZ/RSA/Eng players get off scott free for. I've seen regular occassions where players from these nations cross the line but do not get penalized for it. Just an example of the...

    What about Ian Salisbury?

Chris Broad: The rogue match referee

ICC needs to take a serious look at this fellow IMHO. Seems to be in it in order to create a name for himself. Almost all the calling of bowlers in the last 2-3 months are in games with this chap in charge, and he seems to have handed out bans also targetting the sub-continental sides. A real...

    Ganguly banned for six matches

    This is a career-ending ban.

    English spin bowlers

I think England should fast-track a couple of youngsters against Bangladesh and surprise the Aussie's should the need arise.

    Ganguly banned for six matches

SIX MATCHES - that is absolutely diabolical, that sort of punishment was not even given to Lehman for his DISGRACEFUL racist comments on the field of play. Finshing the innings 20-30 minutes late in a tense Ind-Pak game in 35 degree heat hardly calls for a six match ban. I thik this could spell...

    English spin bowlers

Apart from Giles, are there any spinners in the county circuit worth testing at international level? I say this because....it may be worthwile playing with 2 spinners in the side against Bangladesh with a view of potentially including an extra spinner in an Ashes test match against the Australians.

Shoaib Malik bowling in 3rd ODI, despite not being cleared

NO the problem identified in the report was with his regulatoin off-spinner as well as his doosra.

Shoaib Malik bowling in 3rd ODI, despite not being cleared

Did anyone else notice that ****'s decided to take a risk by bowling Shoaib, and dropping Hazeez for Younis Khan. What does this say about the ICC's new process when teams can just blatantly ignore it?

    Whatmore or Chappel?

Not Buchanan, I question that guy's knowledge of the game. He has come out with some rather bizarre comments over the years, with perhaps the most bizarre being the one about teaching future cricketers to be ambidextrous for their batting and bowling. I believe Moody was an average player in...

    Cricket Rules

WOW...who was the umpire involved? It's amazing how a player can so blatantly ignore the official's decision in a test match situation.

Foxtel to show womens final free :D

Yeah, the history of cricket series has been on ESPN in Australia for 2-3 years now. I've actually purchased the 6-dvd Box Set that includes the entire series...definately one of the better cricket productions out there.
