Worlds Most Dangerous Cricketer (bowler or batsmen)

For every ball he hits a mile into the stands, he misses fifty balls which rocket into his stumps. He's dangerous 2% or so of the time. My top 5 most dangerous players in ODI cricket are: Akhtar, Cairns, Flintoff, Symonds, Jayasuriya My top 5 most dangerous players in test cricket are...

    Bond's back

This is very good news. I'm a huge fan of fast bowling, and Bond's one of the best. If he can make a comeback to international cricket, and return to his old ways at his old pace, it will be a great thing for everyone but the batsmen he's bowling those 150 k yorkers at!

MacGill - "Might outlast next spin generation"

Honestly, I think I would've taken a wicket or two against the lineup he was facing.

MacGill - "Might outlast next spin generation"

I don't think he'd walk onto the Indian, Sri Lankan or English teams. Yes, he'd walk on to the Bangladeshi, Zimbabwean, West Indian, Pakistani and New Zealand teams. I don't know if he'd take Boje's place at the moment.

MacGill - "Might outlast next spin generation"

Hmm, I don't remember him claiming that he was going to outlast the next spin generation after India clobbered him all around Sydney. Maybe MacGill should learn that modesty is a virtue well worth having...

    Asim Kamal - what the?

Hey wahindiawah, let this fellow say what he wants. Let us hope that we can face Shoaib half as well as when India toured Pakistan in March 2004. Remember how he tore through the Indian line-up? He was so amazingly brilliant in that series, wasn't he? I'm sure so many Indian batsmen are having...

    Asim Kamal - what the?

What truth might that be? The truth that Pakistan lost a one-dayer to Bangladesh in the World Cup, to the ridicule of the cricketing world? The truth that Pakistan almost lost a test match to Bangladesh, and, thanks to poor umpiring, managed to escape with an embarrassing one wicket victory...

    Top On-Field Personalities

I don't know if this is the perfect example of Hayden eating his words or sledging the wrong guy. If, on the other hand, Hayden had said those exact words to Harbahajan Singh as he came on to bowl his first over in the second test match at Kolkata, then maybe!

Worlds Most Dangerous Cricketer (bowler or batsmen)

    1. What are Flintoff's bowling stats, and 2. Those are old Flintoff numbers. He's never faced India in the belligerent, almost "I'm constipated all the time so I think I'll take it out on this little ball" mood that he finds himself in now.

Worlds Most Dangerous Cricketer (bowler or batsmen)

Yes. I'm pretty sure Gilchrist's record against India is his worst against any team. I'd wager he averages less than 30 against us. So he doesn't concern me too much. (Gilchrist is still a sensational player though, and I'd grab him as my keeper in a second.) Flintoff probably averages more, and...

    Asim Kamal - what the?

Shabbir is taller, and the likes of Harmison demonstrate that height is a critical element. Look at well he's doing in South Africa if you need proof.

    Asim Kamal - what the?

For tests maybe, but not one-dayers. Sami is a very good ODI bowler and extreme pace is much more useful in ODIs than in Tests. If you can't do anything but dig out the 95 mph yorker in a test, it's fine, he can't keep bowling that all day. In an ODI, it's not so fine.

The strength of the West Indian WHAT? Less like a machete and more like a butter knife.

Worlds Most Dangerous Cricketer (bowler or batsmen)

Andrew Flintoff is the most dangerous cricketer in international cricket today.
