4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

They used the same excuse of the team being in a "developing phase" when they failed on their England tour in 2018. Such a pathetic reason to give, something not even Sri Lanka or Zimbabwe use to hide behind. These guys just don't know how to think. Even in earlier years, their fast bowling was...

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

What a shambolic, rubbish, abysmal performance by India. Reminds me of the days they would easily let the match drift away. Gill makes Nohit look like Ponting with his decisions in the field. And this bowling is even worse than in Headingley. On the other hand, congratulations to Joe Root for...

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

I must ask, does Gill even know Sundar and Jadeja exist? The time to bowl Sundar was at the last session of yesterday. I mean, he was the best bowler for India at Lords and yet he's just in the field? Garbage stuff.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Still, I think a team of India's quality can do much better than they have on those "difficult places to tour". If you look at how much talent they have, they could easily make almost 3-4 good teams. But as Michael Vaughan (whom I don't always agree with) said after their WTC final defeat 2...

on a serious note, he's a big upgrade over the likes of Ian Ward in the comm box.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Wouldn't pay too much attention to rankings, to be honest. They were pretty poor and let games drift away overseas, and England crushed them at home in 2012

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

A bit off topic, but I feel India over the last year or two have gone in the same direction as the early 2010s. Very strong and successful in ICC trophies (excluding WTC), but pretty pathetic in test cricket, especially overseas.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

I can see England making almost 600 at the moment. I had a feeling there would be one test where India will be outplayed completely. IND are only good on paper. In practice, they're bang average

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Unless India snatch another wicket in these last few minutes, it remains England's match to lose. Still many more batters to come in Brook, Stokes, Jamie Smith.
