4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

It's just so damn frustrating to see them not learn from their mistakes in many areas. You have to remain focused when batting around a break. And that was an almost nothing ball outside off from Archer. Only swung marginally away. All things considered, it was largely the bowling that cost...

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

The only good thing that can come out of this imminent defeat is hopefully some changing of course for India. Because they need it desperately. No doubt there is talent and determination. But regardless of this result, you can't expect to win matches by making this many errors, especially on the...

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Both teams have been pathetic with the dropped catches.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

That's the game. You have to leave those type of deliveries. I had a feeling one of them will lose their nerve. India and the time just before and after breaks don't mix well. Match should be over well before tea

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

    Last 10 minutes before lunch

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Woakes is bowling superbly here. Very unlucky not to get a wicket. Gill and Sundar need to keep focused

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Last 20-25 minutes before lunch. Crucial to keep the concentration.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

It's slightly off topic from the current proceedings, but could the Oval match be the last time we see Chris Woakes in whites? Unlikely they will take him to Australia, and the next summer is going to be a while away.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Ditto to what the others have predicted. We have the face the fact that India are known to be mental midgets. I get that they aren't chasing a score this time, but it's unlikely we are going to see a 2005 Ponting 156 style innings at the moment here at Old Trafford.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

On the plus side, the new ball could mean that runs will flow a lot easier. If they survive till then, that is

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

I think the best hope for India is to do a repeat of the Ashwin-Vihari SCG escape for the moment. A couple things will be interesting to look out for. First will be the weather. It is a bit patchy tomorrow, but unlikely to impact proceedings. Second will be if Ben Stokes will bowl. Saw him...

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Give credit where due. Rahul and Gill have played a courageous resistance. India's performance this series has left much to be desired, especially when seizing the crucial moments. But no one can deny the level of heart and determination. Good effort by the England bowlers as well.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Gill and Rahul should try and kill some time about now, just to scrap off the minutes till close.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

I know it would make Gill look like a hypocrite considering his arguments with Crawley at Lords, but both of these two should start time wasting after 6-6:15 PM if they're around by then.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

And the weather forecast for tomorrow is not nearly as grim as it was when the Aussies were playing 2 years back. Rain might be loom here and there, but unlikely that one session or more will be washed out. Could be wrong though.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Dawson is reminding Gill that spinners are to bowl, not to do side hustles.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

It's still too early to say, but a Day 4 finish to the match is looking much less likely. But can't rule it out in such an unpredictable format.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Archer's pace is down at the moment. Think it should be just a 5-6 over spell max

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

He was holding his hamstring from time to time.

4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

What's the latest weather status for tomorrow? I saw earlier that light rain was on the cards, but not sure if it's going to be much of a show stopper.
