Semi-Final #2- New Zealand v South Africa- Wednesday, March 5th- Lahore

One of my favourite random cricketers. Him randomly making 35(18) in THAT chase vs Australia is iconic.

Going to be hard for SA to chase this without Johan van der Wath.

Jansen's been poor in ICC tourney knockouts so far. Took 3 fer vs AFG but was rubbish vs AUS is 2023, Ind in 2024 and here.

    Semi-Final #1- India v Australia- Tuesday, March 4th- Dubai

Fielding cost us more than a lack of runs. India missed a few as well but they've got an attack that creates more chances.

7 an over with 2 set bats should be easy work.

Never said a bad word about connoly in my life. He may be the greatest cricketer to represent Australia.

0(9) and drops a dolly early on. Can't get much worse. Needs to get boshed while bowling for the ultimate Marcus Harris. Hate McGurk all you want but he catches that in his sleep. The fact they bought McGurk in ostensibly as the backup opener than binned him off for collony who wasn't in the...

BBL allstars + Zampa defending 265 vs india in an ICC knockout game would be very funny. Doubt it happens, but funny. Dropping Johnson was definitely a choice, even if we think the deck will turn. He's the guy I would have backed to take two or three early poles while the ball is new and swinging.

Does that demean my point at all? The new white ball swinging excessively for the first 4 overs is nothing new. Terrible innings from cooper, but bringing up the pitch being good for playing pace is a bit silly when both bats where struggling early.

Head was 1 off 12 when collony was batting and got dropped first ball.

    11th Match - South Africa v England

I don't mind a modern day 250 style game. Pre 2 new ball 200-240 games where dreadful in the middle overs IMO. Maybe it's an attention span thing, but watching darren lehmann style bowlers burgle 5-10 cheap overs with a soft ball isn't particularly engaging.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Neeshaw reminds me a bit of matthew wade. His overall numbers are pretty eh, but he's had some iconic moments under pressure. Streets won't forget that 30(10)* vs England in the UAE t20 WC semi, or his death bowling followed by super over batting to get NZ within inches of a WC in the 2019 final.

    8th Match - Afghanistan v England

This has been really impressive from brook. Scoring early vs wrist spin is his biggest issue in ODI's. Doing it easy here with basically no risk.
