Good sport Nissanka taking umpire's call out of the equation.

I don't know if this was already known, but Alyssa Healy mentioned the crew from The Test were filming them during the series. England's side of things would be a lot more interesting to watch, but still nice to hear they'll be getting that extra exposure.

Injured her hip fielding on the first day. Supposedly okay to bat if required but she was wearing her training kit all day so doesn't seem likely.

That's been a pretty common feature of these matches, so they still have a good chance if they put India under pressure early. Perrin has been very impressive.

Sent up the order to bat against the new pink ball under lights & still made a century. What a special player Annabel Sutherland is.

Kind of **** way for Healy to get out when that might be her last opportunity to bat in a test. Seems likely her and Starc will finish up with the same high score of 99 though, so that's cute.

Three chances created by Ecclestone already today, none taken.

I swear Carey used to be better at reviews (save the occasional phantom noise).

Pakistan used 4 for exactly 154 overs in Sydney, 1984, but that's the closest I've gotten.

Not disputing the selection, I just think the order is a bit off. I'd rather see McGrath re-establish herself as an important batter higher up the order now she's found form again.

I know they have extra batting for this one, but McGrath at 8 feels a bit silly.

The Aus U19 team looks like they're about to lose to Sri Lanka only chasing 100. Some impressive bowlers in the team but the batting has been underwhelming.

Everything I've seen suggests Inglis at 5, Kuhnemann will play, and then it's a question of Boland vs Murphy for the last spot.

Oh yeah, I don't think she was incorrect at all in her praise, just that it came across as though she was trying to make it very clear that she wasn't just being overly critical or negative about the team. Which she never was; her points were fair and coming from a place of wanting the issues...

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

I only caught a bit of the first innings, but when I heard her on TV comms she sounded like she was trying really hard to highlight the positives of England's bowling (Ecclestone in particular). Must be extremely frustrating for her. I'm feeling pretty flat about this series now. It's such a...

Where's Issy Wong at these days? I've always liked Dunkley so I'm happy to see her back doing well. Hopefully she can sustain it.

Definitely an improvement from the T20 World Cup. Nice to have the finishers actually come in at the end. I don't know where this version of McGrath has been for the past year but I'm glad to have her back.
