That's the game, surely. Good day out for Georgia Wareham.

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

Great innings from Ash and a nice contribution from Wareham at the end.

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

Pretty imperious stuff from McGrath out of nowhere.

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

I doubt she plays the T20s either so this would have been the ideal time to play her. They should really get her to open in the test at least. Annoying shot from Mooney there. Needed her to carry on.

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

Pretty awful dismissals from Sutherland this series.

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

Did Jones just somehow forget after she hit the ball that it was a free hit and McGrath was replacing Sutherland, not starting a new over? As dreadful an effort as it was, I don't think Jones is good enough that she was ever going to steer them there once Capsey was out. Arguably once NSB was...

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

That has to be a demoralising loss for England. Don't know how they ****ed it that badly.

What on earth is Jones doing

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

Alana King is such a gem. I hope they start using her more in the T20s.

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

I always thought they escaped a lot of criticism due to the overarching England vs Australia rivalry narrative from that winter. Losing both limited overs series and barely retaining the trophy thanks to Ash Gardener dragging them across the line in the test match should have been seen as pretty...

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

I don't want to lose this series, but if it pushes them to bring back Mott or someone like him to make tough calls and reinstate some better structure and discipline, I'd be happy. Feels like they've been coasting along ignoring obvious issues because the results have still been good, but the...

    *Official* Women's Ashes 2025

India have been smashing everyone including Australia in tests at home lately. They've been great fun to watch as well.

**Official** Australia in Sri Lanka Jan - Feb 2025

I just said I wouldn't mind it because I think the time spent playing domestic cricket is more likely to help him long-term return to the player he used to be & Khawaja/Smith/Handscomb are good enough players of spin to cover his absence. But I'm more into flexible selections & rotations than...

**Official** Australia in Sri Lanka Jan - Feb 2025

Mostly I would like to see if Marnus can remember how to make big scores in Australia again rather than just continuing to do just enough to keep his spot, and I think Khawaja would be fine batting at 3 in SL. But yeah, unless Khawaja retires, they're both going.

**Official** Australia in Sri Lanka Jan - Feb 2025

They won't do it but I wouldn't mind if they left Marnus behind to try sort his **** out in Shield. Otherwise I'm pretty neutral on playing Konstas vs releasing him just for this series. As long as they don't take him along as part of the squad and then decide not to play him.

**Official** 5th Test at Sydney, 3-7 Jan 2025

I was out for most of the session but I must have walked past the pub right when Kohli got out because I suddenly heard some dudes out the back chanting his name. Not unhappy to have missed all of the dropped catches. Wouldn't mind seeing Cam Green and Beau Webster in the same team for a bit so...

Inglis is injured, yeah? Any word on how long he's out?

**Official** 5th Test at Sydney, 3-7 Jan 2025

I thought he was excellent against NZ and I'm happy for him to be backed as an important part of the team going forward, but facing a lot of balls while batting at 8 and being the second spinner in these conditions doesn't move me much when the team needs to win, not hold on for draws.

**Official** 5th Test at Sydney, 3-7 Jan 2025

I still don't really see the point of Sundar in the side for this series but I suppose they're lacking better options at the moment. Also disappointed that Jurel wasn't given more of an opportunity.
