4th Test at Old Trafford, Manchester

It wasnt a rant. Its simply exposing the hypocrisy here. You guys accuse non conformists of being nationalists but then behave like nationalists themselves. Protect your environment (in this case the forum) from 'outsiders' who dont conform. The irony.

Arrogance has a way of biting people in the ass. I may not be your cup of tea but im upfront and honest. People can survive without the forum, the forum cant survive without people. Make sure you use better examples the next time. And I'm sure that ambitious guy is doing much better than you...

I appreciate you taking the time to explain that. But for me, ive never looked at nationality in sports. I simply look at the team being supported. My banter of ribbing English fans regarding their WC and the Ashes loss was no different than what happens in these forums on a daily basis. But...

Yes I was born and raised in Bombay India and then moved to Canada a few years ago. As a kid, I didnt like the concept of jingoism attached to sports, as it was taught to me by my grandad who was an olympian in 1948 for cycling. Represented India...I did not like how most Indians played their...

Appreciate your support Burgey. Im sure ill be banned shortly but I always appreciated your posts. Apparently, claiming a fact that England were awarded a WC and did not win it is considered Nationalist on here. I refuse to be a part of such nonsense. Rather stand out than follow the blind...

Accuse me of anything ,but please don’t accuse me of being a Kohli fan. I’m a die hard Australia and a Steve Smith fan. I haven’t posted during the games because I actually watch the entire games. It’s funny as to how I’m always questioned regarding my Australian cricket fandom just because my...

I dont think even Kohli will overtake this , even with some easy home tests vs Ban, SA and Windies. Thats how great Steveo has been

To be fair, Root hasnt had a bad series with the Bat. He's had some scores but he's definitely a shell of himself....and definitely not captain material. Terrible on all fronts. The English seem to have a dearth of leaders or good test batsmen.

I know, I have been trying to battle some of it but I have realized that some English fans are taking it hard and leaving them alone is the right thing to do.

Aus should win this. Ofcourse, its never easy when you adversaries such as Stokes but the Australian bowling should get the job done. Cummins first over today was magical.

Finding small victories in a huge loss is a good attitude to have. Warner should just go ahead and attack now. What does he have to lose?

But the scores were tied even after that so not it wasnt the winning wicket. You seem to love alt facts. Anyways futile now since your team is on the verge of losing the Ashes. If youre this defensive now, wonder how bad itll be tomorrow. Hope you have a good support system around you. Ashes...

Hey look at the bright side, England now have the World Test Maze, T20 WC and ODI WC. Add to those, wins in India, Aus, SA, SL...and its been a good decade for England :)

Do you have faith in Ashley Giles to do that? Also, would you have the ECB focus more on developing spinners considering the next WC is in India, or is the focus on Australia ?

Good post. Thank you for a good assessment and answer. Would you manage Archer better, like not play him in ODIs etc.

Desperate name calling only shows how weak your argument is. Rory Burns is a below average cricketer, live with it. Even his 100 wasn’t changeless, he was lucky. You could say he had a good series, but to claim Burns is good is laughable. Having said that, he has been a bright spot for you guys...

Ok. Get well soon. I’ll pray for a quick recovery of your memory. It’s been a long English summer. I don’t recall England hitting the winning runs or taking the winning wicket within the 50 overs or super over. The game is officially a tie and England were awarded the World Cup on a...

They are a lot of fun to face. There captain does give in easily as he did earlier today. Just handed Aus free runs.
