    I also consider AB, Viv and Sachin to be ahead. Kohli not quite yet just because of longevity but definitely will soon.

    I didn't say he did great as long as Ponting, but he definitely ended with a comparable career. In general, people overrate a player's early-mid career performances and ignore their later struggles, so when a player like Sanga does the opposite, the general view of him doesn't change.

    Sanga's record is very comparable to Ponting's when you consider how he never had a decent opening pair to set the platform for him like Ponting did with Hayden and Gilchrist.

    IMO AB is the GOAT already, but I can see why people might still pick Viv or Sachin. I think AB will retire with the undisputed GOAT record though.

    You are missing Dhoni, Lara and Sanga in that list. The top 3 (AB, Viv, Sachin) are clearly ahead of the rest.

    I think AB, Viv and Sachin all clearly have better ODI records than Ponting. The GOAT conversation only involves those 3 and imo just AB and Viv now.

    Definite no for me. I'm nowhere near as into the game as I was from 1996-2009 (SL WC win to Murali retirement). Can appreciate a game here and there but the spark is definitely gone.

    I've noticed that the algorithm performs terribly at very late stages in the game. I probably have to handle the last few overs in a chase separately.

    Not around to resolve now :mellow: I think this issue happens because sometimes the live scores feed is dodgy and doesn't update for periods of time. Might have to consider other sources.

    I also AB is better than Amla in all formats. Very clearly in ODIs and T20s, by a smaller margin in Tests.

    Unfortunately I have to catch these issues live on a day I'm working from home. Yesterday the script just didn't auto-start for some reason. Thanks for pointing these out btw - I want to get this to a reliable spot so I can gather more data and iteratively improve the odds.
