    9th June - Group A - New Zealand v Bangladesh

I browse around now and then and If I can be bothered I'll make the odd comment :D .

I just cannot fathom how an earth you have a side 34/4, IN CONDITIONS YOU HAVE AN ADVANTAGE IN, and then contrive to let this mess happen? As impressive as it is by BD, this is one hell of a **** up by the kiwis tbh. Will questions have to be asked about Hesson now after this impending humiliation?

We're not "lower half" when it comes to the t20 format hendrix :D Anyway, that was good stuff from the boys. Taylor, Walton and Simmons weren't good enough though. Think we need to get Pooran settled into the side as our first choice keeper as we move forward. Happy to see Roston Chase in the...

Now that's off my chest, time for some comments and ratings :D . Well as I said in my post yesterday I felt like we blew it because even though the pitch was tough to bat on, I was convinced that the experience of Khan and Ul-Haq would be enough to see them over the line when having to chase...

Can't help but think we've blown it in that last session. A 250 lead seemed very possible when Hope and Singh were batting together but their leggy once again had different ideas. IF this last wicket stand can get us near or above the 200 mark then I guess we'll be in with a chance. But Bishoo...

Switched off after yet another early collapse. But my word what a fightback that was in the last session. unlike Blackwood, and tbh even Darren Bravo, Chase has regularly done well at first class level, averaging in the 40s and we're seeing the young man continue in the same vain at test level...

His 5fer in the last test was instrumental in getting us the win. He's working with a new bowling coach in Roddy Estwick now so hopefully the 5fer wasn't a fluke and he can start to take wickets regularly at test level now. Otherwise I think Stuart Law won't hesistate in getting rid of him.

In all honesty though Bim should have won at least two of the last three titles :D . And they have been producing the best talent for a while but yes it is good to see Hetty and Singh get a chance. Hetty can be anything he wants to be in this game as long as he learns to control his excitement...

Well our test squad has been selected as seen HERE Brathwaite, Powell, Hetmyer, Hope, Singh, Blackwood, Chase, Dowrich (wk), Holder (c), Bishoo, Gabriel, Joseph, Cummins A lot of our fans are happy with this squad tbh. It's a young group no doubt but it's packed with a lot of potential. The...

Nope...hasn't apologised for his comments towards the president, hasn't played for Trinidad in ages and is currently ar the IPL.

Well Singh went on to get 135 not out as the boys posted a score of 419. Reifer got 45 to continue his fine form too. Singh had been knocking on the door for the past two years and was stunning for the A-team in Sri-lanka. But the door looked set to remain closed after a pretty average first...

So you're saying they had a "plan" and "method" despite getting 140 dots? :D
  15. WindieWeathers

***Official*** Pakistan in West Indies 2017

One more thing Burner. Pakistan had 140 dots in their innings themselves compared to our 143 dots. So maybe it was just good bowling that brought about these stats?

Yeah, Bravo is definitely out. He's currently at the IPL and has to release a statement "apologising" before he gets back in. The whole situation is silly. If Lewis does well in the next two games I could see him getting a shot because we've been looking for someone to partner Kraigg and he...

Never thought about him where the tests are concerned tbh but it's a good shout considering his form. As for his bowling, I guess you're right. I was probably thinking about the maiden he bowled rather than the whole performance  .

Jo Mo scored two 50s in three games against England the other day, so I'm not sure that innings was a "freak" tbh. Just a continuation of the redhot form he's been in. Yes, we were slow, and picking up more singles will clearly be on the agenda as we move forward. But let's remember Kraigg...

Not sure. Could Put Powell back up top and then perhaps pick Sunil Ambris for the middle order who has been in brilliant form. Also could pick Kyle Hope (Shai Hope's big brother) to open and he's also been in good form for both Trinidad and the A-team. Lastly we could turn back to Johnson...

So creating partnerships, accumulating runs slowly but in a risk-free way while keeping wickets in hand. And then exploding at the end and winning the game with an over to spare is having "no plan and no method"? Goodness me!!...
