'Official' Semi Final 2 - Pakistan v India

They would, Pakistan don't have a great attack now that Asif and Aamer are banned. Akhtar is past it and can rarely perform to his previous level, Riaz is inconsistent, Gul is class though.

'Official' Semi Final 2 - Pakistan v India

India to win easily unless they get nervous in front of their own crowd or have an off day. India are a superior team for the following reasons: -Never lost in a world cup to Pakistan, highlights we are always ready for the big occasion in this rivalry. -Pakistan's batting is much much weaker...

Why is the indian team not commenting?

We let our bat do the talking. Jai Mata di.

    Congrats Australia

I have commented on another thread how an Aus-India final would have been fantastic. We are the favourites, they are the holders for so many years! India and Australia were the 3 strongest teams in this world cup in my opinion. I think Australia were a credit to their nation and it was nice to...

*Official* Quarter Final 4 - Sri Lanka v England

I think SL will stuff England. England also will have some instability due to Yardy's withdrawal. I feel it may be too much and might open old wounds like when Trescothick left the team.

*Official* Quarter Final 2 - India v Australia

Superb win, pre tournament favourites versus the holders. Would have been a great final. India will go all the way now. India, Aus, and SL are the strongest teams. Don't see Pak doing much in Semi Final despite good bowling attack.

    *Official* Match 40 - Australia v Pakistan

Punter is always aggressive with the review, takes it at first opportunity, love it.

    *Official* Group B General Discussion

It doesn't really matter, you all have to face off at some point. Plus Australia in some respects are looking quite frail, not only here but the rained off match v S Lanka too. I back India to beat them.

    *Official* Match 40 - Australia v Pakistan

I think there is a good case for it being defended. Chases put pressure on the batting lineup, if Tait gets his radar right, it could be interesting.

    *Official* Match 40 - Australia v Pakistan

No, that's just them being themselves

    *Official* Match 40 - Australia v Pakistan

200 for Australia might be enough. The pacers for Australia might get early breakthoughs.

    Thilan Samaraweera

He is a good one day player, problem for him is, S Lanka's top 4 set a good platform so he is unable to come in at his normal position. Instead he is shifted down to 7 and looks out of his depth playing at the end of an innings.

*Official* Match 39 - Bangladesh v South Africa

Finally most minnows are now gone, time for the real cricket

*Official* Match 42 - India v West Indies

Windies might play this game more freely now that they are through. India need to bat first and score big...if Windies bat first and Gayle helps them get a big total we will be under pressure facing Roach.

*Official* Match 36 - England v West Indies

That's quite a good attitude as to me, England have not demonstrated at all that they have a realistic chance of winning this cup.

*Official* Match 36 - England v West Indies

Good time for me to a get a quick post in before going to the wards  I can see why you're nervoous tbh. Even if we discard the shambolic loss to two minnows, there is the issue of you opening with Trott. Doesn't this guy have a strike rate of 70 odd? Hardly going to give the best start is...

    Why Nehra

Not likely at all. Dhoni, like any good captain, would be thinking of who is the best bowler for this last over, nothing else. Certainly would not be thinking about Bhajji's long term mental state, he is very experienced. Maybe if it was a new player he might have been unsure about letting them...
  18. Tendulkar_200*

    Why Nehra

Bhajji was the natural choice for the last over, he was looking threatening and was getting good bounce. Maybe dhoni feared that what hussey did to ajmal in the last over may happen to Bhajji? Nehra has been woefully out of form for quite a while and really shouldn't be in our starting...

    *Official* Match 28 - Bangladesh v England

Tbf whoever Bangladesh do play in quarters (assuming they make it), they shall be happy to have such an easy tie. It is the most guaranteed route to the semis.

    *Official* Match 28 - Bangladesh v England

England really disgraced themselves losing to 2 minnows within one competition. Now they are under pressure playing the windies.
