Here's the new ball, wonder if this will increase the scoring rate. I'm guessing it will, but with that comes a greater chance of wickets

England have started well this morning. Bowling tight lines and some good fielding making it hard to score runs. Will be interesting to see whether Haddin and Agar can withstand the pressure and keep blocking or instead decide to swing

Australia need Haddin and Agar to get the deficit down to at least 70 for Australia to have a chance I feel. Possibly even less considering Starc, Siddle and Pattinson's meagre contributions in the first innings.

yeah the expectation on him to deliver are pretty high here in Australia. I think people are forgetting the fact he's only a 19 year old who's playing his first test match.

Massive session coming up for both teams here. Few wickets for England and it could be game over, while a solid partnership from Clarke and Rogers could put Australia right on track to finish it off tomorrow

guess he couldn't finish it off ;)

Really liking Rogers at the top of the order. So nice to know that there's someone opening who isn't going to throw their wicket away. (i.e. Warner)

Good review there from Rogers, pretty bad decision from Dharmasena though. They're the type of decisions which DRS should be used for. Doesn't help when players are wasting reviews based on speculation and hope only

Starting to tick along nicely now. Watson hitting them well, but that sweep shot is still making me nervous

Good shot there from Watson. More balls starting to stay low now as well

Long way to go yet but a good start. Rogers the key here for Australia, as he's the one who won't give his wicket away easily. I can see him trying to be the rock in the chase

Watson's got to make sure he keeps doing that i.e. taking singles. Can't rely on hitting fours all the time to relieve the pressure. He needs to make sure he keeps rotating the strike.

So 311 to win it is. Took the last two or three wickets relatively quickly today, but the damage was done yesterday i guess. Now its time to see whether the batsmen can stand up and at least give it a good go

Great innings there from Bell, probably will be a match winning knock as well

Wonder how Prior will play here considering his rash dismissal in the first innings

Wow incredibly lucky for Bell there, it certainly looked out first time

Yeah I think they should take the new ball, partnership just drifting along at the moment

Hard fought session from both teams. Few wickets early next session will push the advantage firmly into Australia's favour, while a solid partnership could be crucial for England. Not sure if Australia will be able to chase too much more than 150
