Checking the score Lol. Good work England. Bazball mentally disintegrates our lot.

How did this team win in India lol

Most great test bowlers tend to bowl outswing, whereas for ODIs it was inswing. Outswing flies over the one slip for 4.

Which is funny because NZ have been very embarrassed about their many 130kph seamers for years and have picked them last.

Phillips looks like he's going to get out every other ball and his bowling is a bit jammy but he has that most crucial of attributes for a sportsman - God loves him.

    Formula 1

Gasly having a great season ending. The debris thing was funny. First time I've seen a series not go full instant safety car for the smallest speck of debris on track to spice the race up. **** day for RB. After their usual turn 1 dive bombing both cars went backwards.

Noice one England. Very professional performance.

Looks like a disgraceful performance yesterday. Dropping 7(?) catches is indefensible.

I'm following on radio today so fair cop but his past 2 seasons have been grim. We've definitely been slow to provide the heat to Southee that often precedes some of his best work.

Sure am glad we wheeled out dead Southee, dead Wagner, Kuggeleijn and Tickner past 3 years while O'Rourke, Sears and this guy exist.

Gg. Set up to fail really. Still, it's an opportunity for him this series.

    Australia/New Zealand motorsport thread

I agree points down to 6 was miserly in a manufacturer series but I think it has merit in a semi-spec series with 30+ races, since one outlier will be diluted and you don't get brutally reamed for a DNF by Captain Always 12th. 2005 would have been absolutely wild with the F1 points system. I...

    Australia/New Zealand motorsport thread

And to pick up where I left off with the Mark Skaife 2006 "16th" bullshit by applying the old school F1 system: Garth Tander 125 points (4th) Craig Lowndes 118 points (2nd) Jason Bright 107 points (5th) Todd Kelly 100 points (6th) Rick Kelly 88 points (1st) Mark Skaife 87 points (16th) Mark...

    Australia/New Zealand motorsport thread

Russell Ingall falls from 1st to 6 (podiums/wins the decider). Jason Bright falls from 9th to 21st. Murphy from 11th to 3rd . Proves how quick he was if the PWR commodore felt like finishing. I think the four factory Holdens had the same reliability issues. Also confirms Lowndes and...

    Australia/New Zealand motorsport thread

If the 2005 season used the F1 points system, the results are hilarious. Ties split through wins/podiums/highest finish/toss a coin. Here are the results of everyone who got points. This would have been an awesome points system, because you can come from nowhere to championship contender with...

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Dudding is good to watch ball by ball on a bouncy deck. I remember a one day game where his deliveries looked like Oram/Holder.

Phillips will be lucky to get to 50 before this lot all perish on the fence.

He's really slow but he gets huge bounce. Situationally a pain in the arse to face I expect.

I know it's his accent but Harmison sounds like he's commentating drunk and I'm here for it.
