***Official*** Sri Lanka in New Zealand 2015

Williamson and Taylor were both dismissed forcing the pace. Sri Lanka were bowling well with good fields. Herath was getting drift and a little bit of turn and reverse was on offer. Edit: what we needed was another two overs of McCullum.

    What. 80/20 at best.

Nah he wasn't. He was another talent who could hit boundaries and played at five because he wasn't good enough for the top order. The kind of player who is in and out of the team before reestablishing himself as a 32 year old journeyman, who plants his front foot down half a metre forward and...

Taylor with the right idea. Shut up Arnold, its always tough to force the pace on a slow wicket.

Time to hit out. McCullum and Shatner to come.

3 years ago Tom Latham was a T20 prospect at best. For a guy with an average technique and all the shots in the world to convert himself into a compact opening batsmen is special. For said player to dominate firstly the Plunkett Shield where openers are glorified meatshields and then to go on...

Ball changed trajectory just after it passed the bat.

The length ball/yorker is standard. Short ball the bluff.

And that was an outswinger from Wagner. Blocky was right, #swingsbothways.

Bracewell using the crease really well. Fast becoming my favourite bowler.

Hindsight, you're correct. But McCullum could of gone early, and this is a ground you need 500+ first up. 450 would of been dismal.

However, that ball did move in a fair bit. As did his dismisal in Adelaide.

Signature dismisal for Taylor over the last few years. Short ball followed up by a straighter one should be the standard strategy to get taylor out early.

Matthews showing Brendon how captaincy under pressure is done. In-out fields to McCullum, drying up the runs to Williamson and Guptill. What looked to be an impenetrable position half an hour okay now looks a bit shaky.

Even if Guptill can be a home town minnow basher, that's more than anyone else would offer.

Bowler. I'm a bit like Phlegm, or dare i say Chris Martin in that i have a reasonable technique but can't play the ball once it gets above a certain pace.
