Pretty significant difference in quality here and Bumrah has played almost 50 tests, which is hardly a small amount. He's had a near Michael Holding level career already and I obviously wouldn't take Anderson over him either. Would vote Anderson if Bumrah'd only played 20-25 or something.

Yep, New Zealand and threat of a big injury are the only things that keep him away from being a perfect bowler.

Anderson’s record is pretty impressive if we count from 2014 onwards. In his final 10 years of his career, he played 97 tests and picked 364 wickets at avg of 22.



I think he was simply a mediocre bowler in 2000s and post 2010, he became a really different bowler who operated at almost ATG level for next 12-13 years.
