Lions tour 2025

Lions have been horrid today and Wallabies have really shown up.

Sheehan had an absolute mare at the lineout after Itoje went off, Aki has been awful.

Hard to pick any Lions to come out of this game who have played well, but fair play to Australia everyone has had a great game.

Accidentally put in the league thread

Lions win series on differential by one point.

Wallabies showed up. There might be life yet for the world cup.
After these hard fought three tests, maybe the Wallabies can be a threat for the Bledisloe Cup. I think they surprised a lot of fans in this Lions series by how good they were, certainly did me. A real shame Schmidt isn't staying on.

They were better and the Lions less so. Farrell managed to make the sum of the parts significantly less than they should’ve been. Too many out of form players given more loyalty than they should’ve.

Didn’t see much of final game but sounded like Aus were dominant. Not a Lions series to live long in the memory, apart from that one key moment I guess.

Did you turn that £5 into £20 @BoyBrumby ?
Ha, no. Failed to give myself even that small consolation!

Fair play to the Wobs. Thoroughly merited it.

Think Farrell **** the bed with his selection to some extent. Long(ish) tour after a long season, series in the kit bag but, Lowes aside, the only changes were those forced by injury.

Lions obviously felt they had nothing left to prove and played like it.

Nasty cheap shot from Sheehan too. Should be cited for that. Led with the forearm so definite intent.

The wallabies played so poorly in the second half of the second game though. I don’t think you can say they played better

Anyway, the Lions tour has served as a tasty entree for the biggest game of the year: ABs v Boks at Eden Park. We will eventually lose there (unbeaten since 94). Will it be this year?
