It's time to break out the Castle Lagers, not sure if they serve them at Lord's though, they served Fosters when I was at Lord's for the Ashes in 2001.

Castle sponsored the team for this final. There will be plenty of castle.

Firstly I am sure I heard Cummins say at the toss he wanted to bat.
Secondly I have personally been blasted on this very forum regarding the toss. I had been told in no uncertain terms the toss doesnt matter.
So now all of a sudden the toss does matter

Haha chill out mate. I have said that about the 2021 finals too. And yes, toss does help but you still gotta win the game. The advantage of the toss always falls to only one of the teams but not every team wins from there.

Many many and hearty congrats to the South African team, everyone involved with their cricket and all their fans both here and around the world. This is a team you must absolutely be proud of and how great is it that the first black captain leads you to your (technically second, but really) first major ICC world trophy.

They deserved to be world champions at many points since their readmission and they finally have achieved it today. Awesome.

They have a really good generation. Australia will see a period of decline. England and India are rebuilding. It should be their time now.
