*Official* West Indies Tour of Ireland and England- May/June 2025

Honestly so fed up of our performances against Ireland. This isn't even a first choice Ireland bowling attack. We've spent most of the last year winning ODIs and generally improving. But this has been utterly abysmal, from the lackluster fielding to the batting in the first 15 overs.

Luke Wood replaces Archer (thumb injury) in the ODIs.
Luke Wood hasn't played a match of longer fomat than T20 since September 2023. I guess he's only carrying the drinks, though. That's two winters and a whole summer of not bowling more than 4 overs.

Old news. This is the norm

Our 3 teams that played yesterday, Senior, Women’s, and ‘A’, all lost their matches.

The best player out of that was Hayley Matthews….
Indeed yesterday was not a fun day for us.

I don't mind the A team or women's loss, they were competitive and I expected both those lose.

The senior team performance was unforgivable.

The fastest half-century in One Day International (ODI) cricket by a West Indian is held by Chris Gayle, who achieved the milestone in just 19 balls against England at Gros Islet on March 2, 2019.

Matthew Forde is currently on 48 (15)
