That Zimbabwean bird went alright against Steph Rice. Somebody post that photo that she posted on facebook earlier this year.

Kirsty Coventry does Zimbabwe proud once again... she doesn't exactly sound like a Zimbo, sounds more like she's from Minnesota than Mashonaland... spent too much time at uni in America to get better facilities. She's awesome though. Zimbabwe came 3rd in the medals table at the short-course championships behind the US and Oz and she won all the medals! How fantastic is that?

Loved watching Stephanie Rice get the Gold and World Record. Was a great swim by her. Also loved that Katie Hoff only came third and saw her record smashed by both Rice and Kirsty Coventry.

How much of our money paid for that joke of a women's relay team to get to Beijing? What a crap effort. Aim up, or don't bother IMO.

Now, next for Norway's first big swimming final ever

Silver will do. At least he's shown it's possible for Norwegians too. Kitajima just too good (would have liked to see a decent start & turn from Oen tho...)

That was an amazing race from Kitajima. I didn't think he had a prayer after qualifying.

(y) Trickett

(y) Stoeckel, going to be so good when either he or the Russian chap win a final the Americans would have thought was a walk in the park for them.

EDIT: Yesssss, go GB, take another gold from the Americans!
