*Official* - Final - India v Sri Lanka

I guess Dhoni's captaincy gave him the edge, but I felt a tad more of Gambhir's runs were pressure packed and important to the victory.

Group E - England, India, South Africa, West Indies

I can still see India losing here as an Indian fan. Lots of pressure not to be embarrassed losing from this position.

    Flintoff's bizzare anti immigration rant

I'm appreciative living in Toronto that we truly our multicultural. I'm not saying we're perfect but it is perfectly normal to see a Chinese, black, white and Indian within the same group of friends. That is true though, whoever said it, that as you grow older there seems to be a little bit...

    Gautam "Gauti" Gambhir : Whaddaplaya!!!

Great point. It's as if while most players get looser, he is almost more weary which is why I think his temperament is fantastic in that it works for him and is hard to penetrate.

    Sublime temperament.

    CW Ranks the Bowlers

I enjoyed Sobers take on it. Fans think they know everything but often players feel differently. One can assume bias or personal experience clouds judgment but when there are so many variables in comparing players, it's yet another factor to consider.

What do you think of Harbhajan Singh?

I'm an Indian, but I play basketball and soccer mainly. I am really competitive and somewhat of a bad loser even though I like to show good sportsmanship as well. In fact I enjoy when there is a little bad blood or physicality during otherwise friendly games. When the games are done I shake...

    What should Australia do now?

It's doubly funny when a name like Chimpdaddy signs off instead of a real one  Just seems like the alias is taken a little too seriously.

Are India the second best team in the world?

Good point. I agree. From the looks of things Aussie are on the way down (still #1 for now, but not by much, they earned that leeway), India are on the way up and SA are sort of levelled off but I don't think they're a powerhouse that some make them out to be.

Gilchrist calls Tendulkar a "Bad Sport"

Please elaborate the misrepresentation. You must be as naive as he was then to think it wouldn't be received this way.

Gilchrist calls Tendulkar a "Bad Sport"

Blaming the publisher or media entirely is lame in my opinion. He has to take responsibility for HIS book, good or bad. Different strokes, indeed. It's debateable whether it's 'noble' to slag every which way on the pitch, including what could be perceived as crossing the line, and then shake...

    Symonds Shoulder Charge Punishment

It's tricky, many would back Symonds but it sets a dangerous precedent so he almost has to be punished here. If players feel threatened they have a right to defend themselves, but overreacting could lead to an even worse outcome. It was totally in his character to do that though and to do it...

    ***Official*** Commonwealth Bank Tri-Series 2007-08

ret you are overreacting. With that said, a few whistles and boos from the crowd is nothing to lose sleep over IMO. Great retribution for India with this win here. There were moments when you could tell that this win meant much more to them than just the game. The celebration after Harby's...

    ***Official*** Commonwealth Bank Tri-Series 2007-08

I think Lee is a superb guy, but I also believe he has an inner ultra-competitive edge. Somewhere along his subconscious there probably comes an aggressiveness bordering on recklessness which cannot be explained off by purely accidental, without entertaining the thought of it being strategical.
