4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Root mowing down the great test run scorers, going past Kallis and Ponting in the one innings, he might need a few more innings to go past Tendulkar.

Test ton no.38 for Root. He is a batting machine.

The new ball taken and Siraj uses it to hit Stokes straight in the plums. Funny for everyone but Stokes.

I wouldn't be too harsh on India, they haven't been helped by the weather, it was overcast when they batted and it has been sunny for England batting. Stokes should get a job as a weatherman when he retires, I doubt even the professional weathermen could predict the English weather as well as...

Root is an all time great batsman and is deserving of 3rd place on the all time greatest run scorers list but he still needs to score a test ton in Australia. He probably only has ten chances left with the next Ashes tour, assuming that he gets to bat twice in all 5 tests down under.

Yeah this series has been pretty even so far with lots of twists and turns either way but it doesn't feel too even right now with England dominating.

I'm assuming they are singing that song for Duckett, ie. Duckett Man You know you have made it when the Barmy Army sing a song about you.
