To see if their batting outweighs bowling disadvantages@subshakerz Why Lindwall/Miller? One isn't even considered to be an ATG nominee (by you)
But not Miller.Pollock is a better batsman then Lindwall surely
What about batting?Easily for me Donald and Pollock.
Donald is top 10 all time and while Pollock and Lindwall at sclose for me, Miller is a bit behind.
You literally know the answer to that. What about batting?
Would it still.be your answer if Pollock couldn't bat?You literally know the answer to that.
In this comparison, yes.Would it still.be your answer if Pollock couldn't bat?
Sorry that's just taking it too far. There isn't that big of a bowling difference. In this comparison, yes.
And for me, and you know this.Sorry that's just taking it too far. There isn't that big of a bowling difference.
It's an average side, not an ATG side. So they need those runs. And for me, and you know this.
Any batting is a bonus, but is generally not a part of my selection process or criteria.
Plus Lindwall runs.Lindwall ~ Donald as bowlers
Pollock is a bit better than Miller, mainly since he bowled more, but Miller basically provides an extra frontline Batsman.
I cancelled Lindwall and Pollock's runs by giving Pollock and advantage.Plus Lindwall runs.
My philosophies don't shift between levels of competition. It's an average side, not an ATG side. So they need those runs.
Yeah sorry that's lunacy. You can imagine Donald and Pollock winning zero games if the rest of their team are all club level bats.My philosophies don't shift between levels of competition.
You take 20 wickets to win matches.
