The openers and the NR.6 the big worry. For SA I think this is moving in the right direction but I’m worried about Markram the batter. Rickelton is a fine player but he isn’t a QDK at the top. Markram needs to come off.

Ngidi needs to bowl upfront in a T20. Or ODI.One just knew Ngidi wasnt going to do it. Death, Taxes, Ngidi not doing it![]()

Like what was said before, he kept on saying things like "Ooh thats just over the fielder" as it gets smashed out the ground. It was as bad as those "Did that carry" lines that is used to deathWell that was skinny. I'm kind of curious to hear Julian commentate just to sample how bad it is.
I think he was the guy who chimed in with “looks like a glasses case” or something. Should have just kept quiet even thenLike what was said before, he kept on saying things like "Ooh thats just over the fielder" as it gets smashed out the ground. Im sure Brendon Julian was on comms for Supersport when the infamous situation at Newlands happened...
Yep I think thats correctI think he was the guy who chimed in with “looks like a glasses case” or something. Should have just kept quiet even then![]()
I’d have Stubbs at 3 and move the rest down one each but that’s what I’d go for. If they want to #batdeep they need to commit to Linde because I don’t think Muths in this format contributes enough with the bat to outweigh Keshav being in.So, does an SA side of:
1.Makram (C)?
2. Rickelton
3.lhuan/reeza/? (Rassie could bat here if Lhuan struggles).
4. Brevis
5. Stubbs
6. Miller
7. Bosch
8. Jansen
9. Spinner
10. Rabada
11. Mahpaka
Look right?
stfuBrevis back to Tests surely in this sort of form. Hes a carbon copy of ABD.
Bro remember when he announced live on the ground the "sir **** Forrell trophy"Well that was skinny. I'm kind of curious to hear Julian commentate just to sample how bad it is.
Still my second favourite sporting commentary screw up of all time, only behind this of course.Bro remember when he announced live on the ground the "sir **** Forrell trophy"
There is a case for test selection. I think South Africa's next test series are away Pakistan and away India, and Brevis is a better player of spin than some of the regulars. I was going to say the incumbents, but Brevis played in South Africa's last two test matches. He averages 40+ in FC cricket. He ain’t no Fraser-McGurk.stfu
Yes, that was weird. I only caught parts of the series but there were sixes from David and Brevis that instantly off the bat you knew were absolute monsters, out of the ground stuff, where he was questioning if the fielder has a chance. Same with Maxwell hitting the winning runs yesterday, he was questioning that when you knew as soon as he hit it that was the game.Like what was said before, he kept on saying things like "Ooh thats just over the fielder" as it gets smashed out the ground. It was as bad as those "Did that carry" lines that is used to death

I think that was aimed at the poster rather than the content of the postThere is a case for test selection.
