Lara also struggled against types of spin Tendulkar struggled. Fast, flat spin. Saqlain is one. Tendulkar found Kumble tough in domestic games. People who did well against Kumble and Saqlain are players who played using the pace of the ball, played late and played from the crease.
Tendulkar struggled against the doosra. Lara didn't really.

Lara also did about as well vs Warne and much much better vs Murali. Lara>Sachin spin. That's not up for debate.
Not really. It's not like that Lara dominated every spinner (like Sehwag) They are par with spin play. Lara struggled against Kumble and Saqlain. Tendulkar as well. They are even on almost every metric. Just because Tendulkar was less flashy with his spin play it doesn't mean he was inferior. I would rate them similar. Lara, more attacking player, while Tendulkar more methodical player.

Lara dominated Murali and Warne. Sachin didn't. Simple as. You dont have to dominate every spinner to be great, that's asinine. It's how you do vs the very best.

Sachin dominated Warne more than even Lara IMO.
Probably but that's imo, only the case because Lara outside of the 1992 series, always faced the McWarne duo, in which case, McGrath was the one keeping lara in check. Give lara a similar series to what Sachin faced in 1998 and he'd rip Warne apart. Then vs Murali, it's not contest.

I dunno. Lara generally had the advantage over Warne but often gave Warne a chance when he flayed him outside off. Even he admitted that.

Where Tendulkar looked rock solid against Warne generally.

There is a clip of Sangakkara getting out to Pragyan Ojha.
Poor Analogy. Sangakkara was never the best player of spin nor Ojha was close to a good spinner.
We are discussing the four best spinners during Lara / Tendulkar career.

Lara faced Saqlain only a single test. Both innings he was bamboozled by Saqlain.

This argument was so much away from the normal to the left, it's not even funny.

You have to dominate almost all good spinners to be the best. Getting bamboozled by the 3rd and 4th best spinners of the era, and Venky Raju means your are not the best player of spin of the generation. Take Sidhu and Sehwag. Dominated every thing that was breathing and bowled spin. That is what you called domination.

How can you be a great player of spin if some part timer can rock your world?
It happens to everyone. Sachin was once Cronje's bunny and Shamar Joseph has dismissed Steve Smith 4 times in the last 5 test, guess that means neither Smith can't play medium pace and pace all of a sudden. Smh.

I never said lara was the best, I said he was great and better than Sachin vs spin. The best I've seen is Sehwag, I've always said that. And my take is no worse than the dumb azz take you had a few months ago where you said Dev was better vs spin than any WI batsman from the 70s/80s. Think I'll forget the bs you post. Nope!!
