Can't blame him for wanting to play with Pierre-Emerick AubangyemamHe's gone to Marseille.

I really want Morton to stay, both him and Bajcetic I feel are quality players who haven't nearly realized their full potential as of nowYeah it's a great deal for us. I love Lucho as a player but he's had four seasons at the club now and only delivered in one. He was making too much noise around his wages and contract so best to move on now and replace him while his value has peaked. He's not quite over the hill like Mane was when he went to Bayern so I expect Diaz to do well in Bundesliga.
I still think the funniest sale we ever made was Jordan Ibe. To this day I have no idea why Bournemouth went after him. Brewster isn't far behind but still has time to reach his potential, albeit unlikely.
Carvalho and Kelleher will end up good signings, likely so will Elliott, Doak and Morton whenever they leave.
Barely have a team to put together (the ones who are left may be about to go on strike), stadium's ****ed and I don't think they've played any pre-season games, they're going downAre Sheffield Wednesday doomed?
The CB is most important, but don't think we need another lw tbh... Already have Gakpo and Rio there... Ekitike can play that position as well.Bit over this Isak thing now... we don't even need him.
We should go spend the money on Rodrygo and Guehi instead. Let Newcastle deal with the mess of reintegrating the player and if he still wants the move then buy him next summer
It'll be annoying if this carries on until the window closes. We have other more important things to do.
Yeah he covers RW and ST. He's a LW upgrade on all those guys you mentioned and his versatility would be far more beneficial to our squad than Isak. Just my opinion. The CB is most important, but don't think we need another lw tbh... Already have Gakpo and Rio there... Ekitike can play that position as well.
What's great about Rodrygo though is that he can play rw as well
Maybe Wharton, and if we don't get Guehi, I see slot using Endo as the cover cb, who's done well there tbf to himYeah he covers RW and ST. He's a LW upgrade on all those guys you mentioned and his versatility would be far more beneficial to our squad than Isak. Just my opinion.
Definitely agree we need another CB, potentially even another DM.
Depends on their appeal against demotion to the Conference League. I would guess that they won't win their appeal due to UEFA rules but that remains to be seen. Are Crystal place in europa league or conference league

No chance of Wharton this summer. Too expensive.Maybe Wharton, and if we don't get Guehi, I see slot using Endo as the cover cb, who's done well there tbf to him
Yup Wharton was the more long term solution, I think we can go till the winter, or even next yr with Gravenberch in the 6 with Endo (and potentially macca) as the backups. No chance of Wharton this summer. Too expensive.
Someone like Douglas Luiz would be perfect. I expect Guehi deal to pick up steam towards the end of the window.
Why rodrygo when we already have mo?Yup Wharton was the more long term solution, I think we can go till the winter, or even next yr with Gravenberch in the 6 with Endo (and potentially macca) as the backups.
My priority order would be CB, Isak, Rodrygo, DM
Rodrygo for the lw.... He is primarily that but played out of position for Madrid because they had Vini.... The fact that he can play rw well is just an added bonusWhy rodrygo when we already have mo?
Yeah that's why I'd prioritize Isak, also we need a ST more.... Ekitike is young and needs to develop for now... We have Gakpo lw already playing at a good levelIt’s just so much easier to find a player like Rodrygo than it is to find one like Isak though. There are good wide attackers around every summer but you almost never get the chance to sign a proper top level 9.
It seems he wants to stay at Madrid now that our interest has cooled. It’s just so much easier to find a player like Rodrygo than it is to find one like Isak though. There are good wide attackers around every summer but you almost never get the chance to sign a proper top level 9.
We need 2 strikers though if we want to compete on all fronts. Nunez will leave and with Jota's very sad demise, we need both imo. For the wing spots we still have Gakpo, Salah, Rio and maybe even Chisea, with frimpong, ekitike, wirtz, szobo who can play on the wing as well. Ideally I'd like both, but for my first preference I'd take IsakIt seems he wants to stay at Madrid now that our interest has cooled.
I don't think Rodrygo is anything like these Mbuemo/Leao/Kudus/Madueke types that have recently been available. Rodrygo is a unicorn in that he can play both left and right to an extremely high level.
The last certified world class winger was Krava and PSG snapped him up on nearly £300 a week before anyone else had the chance.
I'm excited for Isak just don't know if it makes sense after buying Ekitike. The balance of the squad is off.
