Spin going to be a big factor in Queens Park Oval and Bourda and one side has Derek Underwood and other has Shane Warne. 2000s wins 3-2 or 3-1, ARG Draw.

Excellent match up. Initially I was gun ho for the 90s/2000s because of the Warne and Gilly factor but goodness me, the 80s team has both Imran and Hadlee to offset the batting.

But in the WI, let's see 2 fast wickets, two flat and one uneven (QPO). Edge to the 2000s.

Viv, Border and Greenidge are just too strong in England. Nobody in Team 2 except Graeme Smith and Sachin made suffecient runs in England.

Oh in England now? Then 80s team are crushing the 90s/2000s.

In Australia still the 2000s. All the bowlers in the 90s are very good t9 great in Oz, of the 80s only Hadlee and Malcolm were great there. Batting wise all of the 2000s (except lara) are very good to great in Oz, the 80s not as much.

While we're at it how about South Africa???

My 70s/80s XI would be

Boycott
Gavaskar
Viv
Chappell
Border
Lloyd*
Botham
Knott+
Imran
Hadlee
Marshall

just go all in with All rounders and pace, spinners would do nothing, Underwood is not good enough.
