India sliding towards defeat here. Excellent batting from England but also some mediocre captaincy from Gill who has over-bowled his pacers till they have little left in the tank. You have to mix things up with spinners even if just to give your pacers some rest but also to pose different questions to the batsmen.

If you choose to go in without a 4th seamer (and pick 2 spinners) on a ground where the home county side sometimes doesn't play a spinner you have to bowl a spinner.

Yes 4th innings is all about spinners doing graveyard shifts , even if they dont take wickets they keep it tight and rotate the quicks
