I still think Perth was more impressive. Doing that after the first innings duck against a full strength Aussie attack was next level.

His most impressive innings to date is that 80 odd he scored off 210 balls or something in the boxing day test match. Showed he has the temperament to play long, gritty knocks on a testing surface.

Poor from Nair. He looked awful in that little stint. Just looks very nervous all the time.

Was really rooting for him but that’s his career done I feel, first innings top score notwithstanding.

Yeah, not sure what to make of Nair. Guess he's earned a couple of games more (?) but that technique outside off is not very good. I'd rather just go with a younger player.
