And India got an advantage because of that. Especially that first Test. Plus their quicks are also older so they probably want to preserve their workload. And additionally, Australia tends not to change their wickets too often based on team needs.

Did England pick Jamie Overton off his form for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash, he was quite an impressive all rounder for them.

So was Paul Walter aka Tall Paul for the Brisbane Heat though and I can't see him getting a gig for the England test team anytime soon.

I come back to the point that I think this team has a lot of ticker and mental strength. They just do not seem to have the concentration levels or ruthlessness to keep executing to a high standard again and again which is what it takes to be a good/great test team and win a lot of test matches.

I hope they get there. I think they are a pretty likeable bunch as of now, as long as they dont get too big for their own feet.
