I'd be a fool to not take a shot if he agrees.
I’d rather see you attempt to kiss him on the field and get taken out by security tbh. Too bad we don’t have a Symonds anymore, unsure if anyone would take on the burden of knocking you down.

In all of this (comparatively very brief) discussion of the Harry Brook era, has anyone mentioned that that on top of his batting, that's he arguably one of the top 2 slip fielders in the world right now?

Who is the other 1 you're thinking of? But he does seem very secure and takes some tough chances. The one bonus about England having a settled batting line up is that you can do the same for your slip cordon. Root, Brook, Crawley, Duckett is up there now with the 2010/11 group.

Think Markram has been impressive everytime time I seen him.

They would if it was as mention worthy as batting.

Like it's never mentioned for Hammond, Sobers, Simpson, Kallis, Taylor etc etc.?

But if you don't think being the best in the world at the most critical fielding position, is an important distinction, that's fine too.
