Would need to play a lot of tests against SL at Seddon Park to do thatTendulkar, Root and Ponting are all pretty lucky that NZ don't get to play as many test matches as them as Williamson would go ahead of them all.
providing of course all those extra tests weren't in india, england and south africa.Tendulkar, Root and Ponting are all pretty lucky that NZ don't get to play as many test matches as them as Williamson would go ahead of them all imo.
I think Root has achieved more than Anderson. Anderson is a very good bowler but not as good as fast bowlers: Marshall, Akram, Younis, Walsh, Ambrose, Donald and Pollock. For me he sits behind them (as does Starc).Won’t average 30 here this summer. Again. He’s like Anderson - you play enough tests you make enough runs/ take enough wickets. Low range second tier player at best in the scheme of things.
If not for sandpapergate, Root wouldn't even be the best batsman of his generation imoTendulkar, Root and Ponting are all pretty lucky that NZ don't get to play as many test matches as them as Williamson would go ahead of them all.
pathetic comment. If not for sandpapergate, Root wouldn't even be the best batsman of his generation imo
Never really had a series defining Ashes and no 100s to show in Australia obviously (got smoked down under for his most of his career)
yes, he really is lucky that somebody else was an enormous ****ing cheat lolIf not for sandpapergate, Root wouldn't even be the best batsman of his generation imo

Williamson's been injured every way apart from being struck by lightning...Tendulkar, Root and Ponting are all pretty lucky that NZ don't get to play as many test matches as them as Williamson would go ahead of them all imo.
Now that's the great man!The lack of respect for Williamson is disgraceful, he is one of the all time great batsmen, in NZ anyway, he really only has to compete with Martin Crowe.
I don’t think he’s missed a test due to injury. Pretty impressive.Serious question:
In the last 5 to 10 years how many injuries has Joe Root had that's sidelined him from cricket?
Trying to think at the last 'bad one' or so.
With just circa 2800 test runs to go and with England playing 10-14 tests per year he doesn't even need to average 45 runs per dig to get there.
Just stay healthy.
Martin Crowe is still my favourite NZ batsman just like Gower is still my favourite English batsman, they scored less runs but they scored them in style. Now that's the great man!
