4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Such a flat pitch totally puts the game into disrepute. At this rate, they wont complete 1 inn in nearly 5 days of the test, which is a complete and utter crime.

This series has some seriously flat decks, Rawawlpindi pitch curators are put to shame.
Yet 40 wickets fell at both Lord's and Edgbaston, 4 completed innings. And 35 wickets fell in first Test and that's because England chased it down.

they were high scoring games werent they though. fairly road like in terms of returns.
compare to the recent WI/AUs series, and these pitches are flat roads, similar to the Aus Ashes when they toured.

Only way Gambhir gonna get kicked out is if India lose to Pakistan. No other way.

So I hope they lose some bogus T20 to Pakistan in Asia Cup etc, so that he finally gets sacked!
Sadly I dont think so. He'll be here until the 2027 WC at least. BCCI will just organize a few home series with WI and Bangladesh and maybe a few tours to Zimbabwe to boost his win record and all will be fine once again.

Lord's wasn't, 350+ in first innings and then both team bowled out under 200. Edgbaston was high scoring, Headingley was not that bad but had bad bowling.

Last test was okay, this test is particularly flat i should be specific.

1st test was a road. Its similar to the Ashes when aus toured, for the most part- flat roads as English batters dont know to how to play any movement whatsoever, so they try their luck with roads.

there was movement at Lord's, especially day 1, English bats handled it fine.

Would you prefer a Test Match lasts 5 days or 2? Also, the pitches in WI featured two horrific batting units against far superior bowling line ups.

And I can't believe I'm even replying to your rubbish.

only pitch I think that was a little too flat was Edgbaston, that actually felt like Rawalpindi, Headingley was a good deck wasted by two sides with mediocre bowling units, Lord's was a great pitch.
