4th Test (Old Trafford, Manchester) - 23rd to 27th of July

Whatever it takes!!!
lmao can we just pick a normal ****ing side for once
For good or bad, it seems like Triple G are set on this as our combo for these matches - 4 seamers and 2 spinners which includes 3 allrounders. And 5 batsmen that includes the keeper. Just gotta hope it works this time like it did at Edgbaston. I was happy at the fight we showed that game but this time, we need to bat far better, longer and ensure at least a 350+ score.

I don't think the toss matters much but it's good to challenge the conventional wisdom of 'bat first whenever there's a question'. I think that feeling is embedded over a long period of thinking of what a pitch is 'supposed' to do rather than what it actually does in this century.

I always thought it was a more of an insurance against having to bat last as pitches can be pretty unpredictable by days 4 and 5.
