I wouldn't really go with Marshall Hadlee Imran as they belong to the exact same era. 1980s.

I'd go- Marshall, McGrath, Imran/Wasim
100% agree.

Been saying this for years, the notion of three bowlers from the same era makes as much sense as choosing your entire middle order from the 30's.

That's why I initially had Marshall, McGrath and Steyn, before it evolved to Wasim.

Imran over Wasim as the 3rd guy, sure, but that guy from the 2000's is a must.

I do as well.

Best possible attack from the history of the game and each compliments each other perfectly.

Marshall | Warne | McGrath | Bumrah.

Still have a solid no. 8 and 9 and not like they're not behind the best batting line up possible.
That's a horrible tail for an ATG XI.

I wouldn't call Marshall and Warne horrible at 8 and 9
For an ATG XI everything has to be nerfed.

I imagine facing a Martian XI and any potential crack will be exposed.

Otherwise if we are facing average teams it doesn't matter whom you pick.

So a normal tail of Marshall Warne is quite weak if you are facing a complete ATG bowling attack.

If you're facing such an ATG bowling attack I don't think Hadlee would make much of a difference either, not as much as McGrath can make against the ATG top order imo
