I find your lack of an avatar disturbing.Makes sense - Australia won because they played the most games and therefore hit the most boundaries.

I'd be disappointed if we don't beat you 2-0 thoughI expect us to sweep wi and proteas while beating Aussies 4-1 in bgt and winning in sl. Hooefully we win game or two in england

We gave sporting tracks in 2019. Your batsmen got out to shami and yadav. Anyway eden is now fastest wicket in india and yes could had match at banglore or hyd but bcci wants cricket to grow in north eastern india thats the reason behind guwahatiHopefully now Kohli is gone, the BCCI and CSA can start giving each other better cricket wickets again & stop the tit for tat.
What you giving us at Guwahati lol
Eden Gardens will turn I'm sure but generally runs can be had as well.
I'm just over the Wanderers and Newlands types and these types in India. Elgar shouldnt be getting 4-for in first innings lolWe gave sporting tracks in 2019. Your batsmen got out to shami and yadav. Also Guwahati in winter could really be good for swing bowling. I remember Manoj Prabhakar running through some side and being unplayable there back in the 90s.We gave sporting tracks in 2019. I reckon the Match Ref is going to have his work cut out to calculate the penalties in this game. So many daft delays plus some weather issues, but both teams miles behind on the official rates.Any more injury stoppages from Jaiswal and Stokes will have his first points deductions of this WTC
Actually a wise move. Have to ensure a neutral venueEngland confirmed as hosts of the 2027, 29 and 31 WTC finals.
Let's be honest, other than the weather and the uncouth supporters of the local team, the UK has the best of everything for a neutral test. Would be happy to see all future World Cups being relocated there tbh.Lovely to see imperialism still alive and well in the second quarter of the 21st century.
All 3 finals would have been sell outs in Aus, each having involved at least 1 of India or AustraliaEngland has produced 3 sell out tests for the final involving two overseas teams each time. Had those matches been in, say, Australia, South Africa, India respectively you'd have heard a pin drop in the empty stadia.
I'm just pissed because the Basin fits perfectly for the WTC final. Great ground, will get a good crowd, timing in late March / early April coincides with generally good weather. What's not to like? Apart from that it's not in a Big Three nation so it doesn't exist, obvs.Let's be honest, other than the weather and the uncouth supporters of the local team, the UK has the best of everything for a neutral test. Forget I said early April. It's only occasionally that March WTC series run right up to the IPL, and it's typically only series in NZ then anyway (which can be pushed around). There's normally a two-week window there so it's a lame excuse.
