3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

I thought even Nitish Reddy's celebration of Crawley's wicket was as bad as Siraj's anyway. These supposed send-offs are all fine and amusing imo. Nothing wrong with a little fire-y celebration in someone's face. Siraj and Duckett kinda both brushed shoulders, wasn't really one sided as people are saying. Let players do more of this, not less. Adds to the theatre immensely.
The in your face stuff is too far, sooner or later a pissed off batsman is going to swing his bat at a bowler and you could hardly blame him. Chirping from a distance is fair enough, but if you're close enough to get hit then you're inciting trouble.

Yes you can wtf

Not assaulting someone is a basic urge anyone should be able to control

Other than Stokes maybe

Whatever it takes!!!
Don't recall Archer making physical contact with a batsman. What he did was the same as NKR and rightly neither were fined.

I have no issue with overs fine for England, they were slow. But India managed just 83 overs on Day 1 and got slower from there.
I dont recall Siraj initiating the contact. It was Duckett. So basically two englishmen who should have been fined got away scot free.

BCCI is around 38× more valuable than ECB, that's probably the answer.
Nah, racism is the answer. The white guys didn't get fined for same or worse offences, the brown guy did.

I mean, neither is the answer but mine is at least closer to truth than yours.

Siraj (India) cops the demerit point for bad behaviour while England cop the WTC point penalty for slow over rate. Both Stokes and Siraj get fined an insignificant percentage of their match fee.

Even stevens IMO.

IIRC the head of the ICC is not a white man, Idk, could be wrong.

Is Jofra Archer white now? You can't play a race card on this one, utterly ridiculous, especially when India essentially owns the ICC. Quite how they've avoided an over rate penalty is astonishing. Did spectators really pay £175 to watch Gill have a 10 min massage?
