Bashir has got Siraj as his bunny

Really should have won this. Just needed the top order to survive 40 overs

Jadeja is a hero

Test cricket. Bloody hell.

Desperately hardlines for Jadeja; magnificent innings in the circs.

Even though every fibre of my being was willing him to fail.

13 days to recover after that

I’ve seen some tests but this is up there for me

the tension, the annoying play by England , then to drag it all back

jadeja deserves a big say for how he controlled that chase with the last 3 wickets

my admiration for the man has grown substantially watching that

time for a lie down and a cool long drink

Well played to both teams. A little more aggression somewhere in the middle would've brought us closer still but oh well. England were phenomenal in the morning session and listless in the middle. India were listless throughout but at least they showed some ticker.

@Johan has completely stopped Gambhiring

These are not good signs for India
How did it happen a literal second after your post brother...

Anyway, after practising the art of Gambhiring for a whole day, I understand the appeal and declare myself the greatest gambhirist in the history of Cricket Web.

England won that through that late burst to get Nair and Gill yesterday. 4 down for 50 odd puts too much pressure on the rest mentally. Great fight from the tail and Jadeja is a legend, honestly. top order really needed to do more.

Now the series loss is (probably) out of the question for England - is it a crisis in India until their next home game?

Congratulations to England for winning the 3rd test. It was anyone's game for a long while, but it finally came to an end. Ben Stokes, you've cemented your status as a legend of the game. Amazing persistence from Archer, Carse, and Stokesy, despite defending an under par score. India will be rueing a lot of the missed opportunities to secure this match, but they've fought well to the end. Jadeja, Siraj, and Bumrah, I forever salute you 3. You never gave in, even when on the brink. Both teams have given us an absolute majestic show. And what better place to do it than the Home of Cricket?

On a separate note, the actions of the England players after the final wicket reminded me of why this is still a gentleman's game, despite all of the on field tussles. You've won my respect, lads. I pray we have more amazing cricket to come in Manchester and the Oval.
