3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

It's really odd btw why England has been harder for India to do win in than Australia.
Wicket preparation.

Traditional English wickets should be about as foreign as it gets for Indian teams too you would think, which probably explains a lot of their lack of success in the past.

Whatever it takes!!!
I see Gavaskar is claiming that DRS is corrupt over the Rahul dismissal.

Which was a very similar height to the Pope one yesterday that Reiffel gave not out and was reviewed to out.

Haha, I thought it was plumb, just as plumb as Pope's was. Sunny G is talking nonsense here.

I mean, I think Reiffel seems obviously biased against giving decisions towards India this test, esp. since day 3 but blaming DRS is just what unravelled this Indian side back in RSA in the first place.

I really think it has been a case of a great bowling performance by England more than anything else this innings.

We can always look back at the runs we let their tail score, the runs our tail could not score and our collapse yesterday but really, this win is because of a great bowling performance in the first session of day 5 by England, above all else.

And, to reiterate, it was a really good toss to win.
They've bowled well but I think the last sentence is most relevant. Both teams batted well in their first innings but it was clear run getting in the last half of the match was going to be tough when the pitch seamed and played two heights from the start. Chasing 200 against Archer, Carse and Stokes on a variable pitch must have been what India feared when they lost the toss.

India well ahead, all they need is one or two good overs and they are in the driver seat of this match
