3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Whatever it takes!!!
That was excellent from Brook. But Akashdeep has really really struggled this game. Very weird bowler as he is basically useless outside the new ball and Siraj seems to want to bowl with the new ball. Maybe that is why the management went with Prasidh who is a very clear first change bowler for that first test.

He wouldn't be the first bowler to struggle their first time at Lord's tbf. Slope messes with a lot of touring bowlers

I remember back during covid when Crawley smashed that 200, I mentioned even before that game that Crawley seemed to have a higher ceiling than Pope. Crawley was more KP level in his ceiling while Pope was more Ian Bell. I get the feeling that Brook is KP level while Jamie Smith can actually be Root level, in terms of their ceilings.
