2 and a bit innings to go and no batsmen has scored a 100. When was the last time no player on either team made a 100 in a 3 test series?

Goes without saying that Smith looks most likely, by far.

Though the best individual innings of the series was Brandon's in the last test IMHO. Was class. Hopefully he can repeat that somehow here.

Its so sad that UK and Aussie journos write these pieces without any attempt to have a nuanced discussion with modern stakeholders. Yes the guys in the 70s and 80s were amazing and we're so proud of them, but they have zero relevance in this day and age and with this global cricket economy where the cards are so heavily stacked against us.

Its so tedious.

Why isn't smith in the slips. I know green and Webster are good there but he is more reliable and agile than khawaja surely?

Good question. This has happened in a two-test match series where both games had a positive result, most recently this year in the Pakistan-West Indies series. Top of mind, South Africa won a three-match series 2-1 without any centurions and without even scoring 250 in six innings, but their opposition, India, did have a couple of centurions in the series.

Decent effort from the Windies this morning; they've batted time. But, given the outfield appears to be sand with no scoring value across the ground, they're unfortunately going nowhere, and the Aus attack is relentless.

Campbell has been legitimately good today. WI have batted out of their skins so far today but I still can't shake off the feeling that a collapse around the corner.

Really don't quite understand what's happened to Carey's keeping this year. Dropping catches constantly
