3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

Has honestly been a horrible game to umpire. Players going out of their way to waste time at every opportunity, balls keep going out of shape, pitch that stays low but when you give an LBW out Hawkeye says it's going over. And most of the cricket has been turgid and boring. Plus it's hot. And now a captain has told the opposition openet to grow some ****ing balls.

Regarding balls and spares - the ECB is responsible for providing match balls and spares for the series. They control what is provided to the umpires at the start of the game, and the umpires take care of it during the match - literally. I've known umpires to take the match balls back to the hotel with them at the end of the days play if there is no secure storage at the ground!
acting like any match at the Dharamsala would ever match a proper test match in England hahahahah

They literally got bowled out for 387 while Carse is cooked with an injury...
please stop trying to justify an England team that gets its ass handed back to them when they travel to India and is neck and neck against the worst Indian team in 25 yeats

Please stop entering every thread crying about how bad these teams are. You're welcome to go watch Golf if you don't like these teams.

Did you watch the cricket today? It was mediocrity personified
did you watch it on the first 2 days? especially day 1? very balanced and very good, Bumrah and Siraj on day 1 especially bowled fire, proper batting too.

I was at Lords. Bumrah and Siraj and Root were good.

day 2 pretty much Bumrah, Smith and Rahul

these are two mid teams with a couple ATGs evenly matched

So... you're admitting the first two days had good cricket, It's not their fault the pitch lost pace and died bown completely on day 3. Also, Archer was very good yesterday, even if it doesn't appear in figures.

classic Lord's, pitch is slowing down by Day 3. Wasn't an issue when there used to be cloud cover and pitch had pace on day 1 and 2, but an already slow pitch slowing down further under a hot sun is bad
